The two-day internal event was a blend of professional programmes and team-building activities. Following organisational changes, Orbico wanted to allow its employees to mentally prepare for challenges, face them quickly, and feel the support of a cohesive team. The team-building activities focused on physical and mental well-being, featuring sports, health-related, and charitable activities.
Guests could choose from various programmes aimed at physical and mental health, ranging from health assessments, beer yoga, and tai chi to painting pencil cases for the children supported by the Világszép Foundation. After the professional conference, we engaged not only the body but also the heart, sometimes both at the same time! In collaboration with the Suhanj Foundation, company runners participated in a sensitivity run, and they continue to support the organisation, planning to run with the visually impaired members of the Foundation at their next event.
Emil Neszmélyi, a mountaineer, gave a talk on change, and the morning after the evening party, we arranged a demonstration with service dogs to allow everyone to relax and recharge before heading home.
Managing communication between the client and the venue often requires numerous compromises. This was especially true for the Orbico event, as we had to discuss several unconventional elements with the hotel separately. It immensely helped that the contact person was flexible and open to new ideas and extra requests, for which we are truly grateful.
At HighVibes, we practice what we preach. The client commended our team’s flexibility and thanked us for managing everything seamlessly and invisibly in the background, to the point that they were unaware of the intricate planning and coordination that went on behind the scenes.
